From zesty pickled sardines to heartwarming and nostalgic tortilla omelets, Los Reyes Magos delivers an authentic and exquisite tour of Spanish cuisine.

Restaurant Details

Spanish cuisine is diverse as it is delicious. Bordered on three sides by the Mediterranean Sea, the North Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, the country enjoys a wealth of different culinary cultures, from northwestern Galician, to Andalusian in the south, to the wildly eclectic Basque.

This is why it’s no mean feat for Los Reyes Magos to bring all of Spanish cuisine’s celebrated variety and flavor to Tokyo — but yet it does, and with ease. While the restaurant’s main focus is on Catalonian cuisine — a homage to the original owner’s training in Barcelona’s Xarcuteria La Pineda — the restaurant boasts over 50 dishes on their a la carte menu. These range from Catalonian pickled sardines to cocido stew from Madrid, to the national favorite tortilla espanola, a hearty potato omelet topped with tomato and aioli.

Entering the restaurant pulls customers out of the Tokyo bustle into a warm and festive atmosphere, aided in no small part by the excellent, friendly service. Diners can also opt for one of the course meal options, all of which include one of five variations of Los Reyes Magos’ signature paella.
