La Grande Table de Kitamura
A Japanese master of French and Swiss dining brings decades of European training to his own central Nagoya restaurant.
Restaurant Details
Bringing a taste of France and Switzerland to Nagoya, this Michelin-starred restaurant is helmed by veteran chef Ryuji Kitamura. He trained for over 10 years in Europe, working under top names in prestigious kitchens.
Now he runs his own in a historic part of central Nagoya, not far from the castle. The restaurant is an old mansion, with a quirky-yet-stylish feel to the dining room.
The exact menu changes from day to day, and you’ll never be served the same food twice no matter how many times you go. Everything is bought on the day and tailored to the season, individual diners, and the chef’s inspiration. Frequent highlights include a langoustine salad, and seafood risotto.
