The owner-chef of this kaiseki restaurant in Hiroshima is a big name on the local food scene, having run his place for over four decades. He also served as the sensei to a number of top talents in the culinary world. At his 2020 Michelin-starred establishment, you can enjoy a range of traditional dishes including fresh seafood from Setouchi.
In addition, they also stock plenty of local Hiroshima sake and shochu (sake’s stronger older brother) as well as wines available by reservation. The traditional tea house style interior is a perfect theater for watching this culinary master at work. Counter seats offer the best view, but private rooms are also available.
