IRODORI
Buffet style dining that’s all gourmet and zero kitsch, Irodori serves up the colorful bounty of Naruto on a literal silver platter.
Restaurant Details
A maguro tuna carving is a spectacle not to be missed — especially when that spectacle is taking place during dinner service. Every night, this Tokushima buffet-style restaurant offers a tuna cutting station where guests can request fresh-off-the-fish tuna steaks, sashimi, and more.
Located in the AoAwo Naruto Resort on the northeastern tip of Tokushima, Irodori heavily incorporates local specialties in their menu offerings like Naruto red sea bream, Kintoki sweet potato and Naruto wakame seaweed. True to its name — meaning “colorful” — the restaurant’s sprawling menu of 60-odd items rotates seasonally, a revolving kaleidoscope of colors that constantly changes with the weather. Regardless of the time of year, its dedicated noodle bar also enjoys substantial popularity. For those not looking to try the buffet, a chef’s selected sampling of sashimi and tempura or set meals are also available.
Styled with dazzling gilt and red, the banquet hall amplifies the AoAwo Naruto Resort’s sense of luxury; the perfect place for diners to enjoy such vaunted regional cuisine.
