Restaurant Details

A heritage of excellence. Few can match the culinary record of the original Yokota in Azabu-juban, which has held a Michelin Star for eight consecutive years.

Not content with resting on its laurels, it has since expanded its operations all over Japan, with its latest outlet being in the seaside, metropolitan Tokyo district of Hamamatsucho, a popular nightlife spot and stone’s throw from Tokyo Tower and Shimbashi.

Yokota may now have branches as far as Fukuoka in western Japan, but its commitment to bringing out the best in the freshest seasonal ingredients remains true. Every meal at Yokota is a once-in-a lifetime encounter with the chef, the restaurant, and the ingredients — which is why it demands absolute perfection from its chefs.

Depending on the time of the season, each omakase course menu is crafted around the Japanese culinary concepts of “hashiri”, “shun” and “nagori” — that is, early-season, mid-season and late-season ingredients. Diners are invited to cherish each experience at Yokota in private rooms or counterside, where they can fully appreciate Japanese hospitality and the flavors of each meal using all five senses.
