Hakata Hiiragi Taiyaki, as the name suggests, serves some of the most delicious taiyaki in the city of Fukuoka. All their taiyaki are made with 100% Hokkaido azuki beans and dough that does not contain any eggs or dairy products, making them vegan.
In addition to vegan taiyaki, the shop also sells its special Hiiragi’s homemade bean paste, which has a gentle sweetness from the Hokkaido azuki beans.
The shop has also found different combinations of food to complement taiyaki and its bean paste. For example, another popular item is Taiyaki-kun, which combines the hot taiyaki with rich, cold vanilla soft serve ice cream.
