This set includes the basic tools that are used by traditional Japanese sweets makers to make nerikiri art. (1) The Triangular Bar to draw various lines, (2) the Noshi Rolling Pin to roll out sheets of nerikiri dough, and (3) the Stamp and Cutter tools to create decorations and detailed shapes from the rolled-out nerikiri dough. (1) The Triangular Bar This is a basic and essential tool used by traditional Japanese sweets makers to create lined designs on nerikiri sweets. With this single tool, you can create three types of lines: thin lines, thick lines, and double lines. These different lines can be used to create many different designs for your nerikiri creations. (2) An essential tool used by traditional Japanese sweets makers to evenly roll sheets of dough to make nerikiri art. By rolling thin sheets of nerikiri dough, you will be able to cut out shapes with stamp tools. This small rolling pin is also great for making Japanese gyoza or dumpling skins. Made from Japanese wood. (3) the Stamp and Cutter tools This tool allows you to easily create Cherry Blossom shapes for your nerikiri creations! If you are not familiar with Cutters, choose the large size. (Precautions for use) The cutter is finished with extremely thin walls to make it easier to cut out the soft nerikiri dough. Do not use it with strong force as it may be damaged. Do not use it for hard dough, frozen dough, vegetables, etc. Also, do not use it in an oven, microwave oven, or dishwasher.
