This experience invites you to take a day trip from Tokyo to discover the charms of Sayama.
Your host, a friendly English-speaking guide, will meet you at Shin-Sayama Station. You’ll then explore the town together, walking through the quaint residential streets, until you reach your first stop for the day — a tea farm that has stood for over 100 years, where you can stroll the fields and learn about tea production. Here, you will enjoy light refreshments and take commemorative photos.
After that, you will have the opportunity to tour a tea factory that is usually closed to the public, before you visit a traditional Japanese-style house where tea farmers live to interact with the farmers and enjoy fresh tea.
