Only a few minutes from Nishi-Nippori and Tabata Stations in Tokyo’s central district of Bunkyo, you’ll find the tea room in a beautiful area full of nostalgia, with centuries-old shops and charming backstreets. Step inside and meet your host, who will demonstrate the intricate process of preparing matcha the traditional way, from whisking tea to the manners involved in serving and receiving it. You’ll also learn how to make tea and gain unique insights about Japan’s evolving tea culture.
