Experience Details

You’ve been happily strolling around Tokyo, enjoying the many activities and delicacies the city has to offer. And yet, you feel like you are missing out on something. Leave the hustle and bustle for a while and learn how delicious Japanese sake is made. You can join a sake brewery tour, just a short train ride from the buzzing metropolis.

Your English speaking guide will meet you at your hotel or at the nearest station. At the brewery, you will have all your burning questions about sake brewing answered. Explore the facility, from the cellar to the barrel room where the magic happens. In the meantime, your local guide will provide a complete explanation of the manufacturing process, including the history, the role played by the rich Japanese soil, the time required for brewing, and the culture in which sake blooms.

Discover the variety of types of Japanese sake and learn how sake has gained popularity abroad. Then, find your personal favorite sake during a sake tasting, which features the newest creations of the brewery you’ve just visited.
