Experience Details

South of Osaka’s bustling lights and buoyant attractions lies Kishiwada, a coastal city known for its castle, traditional gardens and a lively local festival. In this special experience, available for only two days at the end of January 2025, you can get an exclusive glimpse into the ancient culture and heritage of this picturesque area through an exquisite meal, a tea ceremony, a guided visit through the Gofuso garden and seeing views of the Kishiwada Castle’s illuminations, covering two of the city's main historical landmarks.

Your host will pick you up from Rinku-Town Station and take you to the first stop by private car. Upon arrival at Gofuso Garden, you’ll see a traditional side of Osaka that most visitors don’t get to experience. Led by the proprietress of Gofuso herself, you’ll walk through this large Japanese-style garden and learn about its fascinating history, ending in a spectacular Japanese-style room where you’ll enjoy a course meal. Your dinner will feature seasonal and regional ingredients beautifully arranged by pro chefs.

With a full stomach and a calm mind, you’ll head to one of the building’s three tea rooms for a traditional tea ceremony. From the utensils to the type of tea, everything is exclusively selected to highlight the elegance and hospitality at the core of this ritual.

Lastly, you’ll visit the area around Kishiwada Castle, which is lit aglow at night. Bask in the mesmerizing illuminations as you see this historical site before returning to the station by car.
