You’ll start your adventure at Odawara station and your guide will take you to the first of many tasty stops. Walking through Minaka Mall, you’ll stop and try different foods made in the area, like kamaboko, traditional fish cakes, while learning about the history of the area. You’ll also try umeboshi, pickled plums, from a store that’s been in business for over 300 years!
After a few more street foods, you’ll walk to Odawara Castle. On the way, you can stop and get dressed up in samurai gear for a photo in front of the castle. Inside the castle, you’ll learn more about the life of the samurai and ninjas.
After the tour, head off in a taxi to a truly memorable experience! Indulge in a traditional kaiseki meal accompanied by geisha. Learn all about the mysterious world of geisha while enjoying the meticulously prepared seasonal dishes featured in Japanese kaiseki. The geisha will perform during the dinner, and you’ll have a chance to play games with them after!
The dinner is hosted at a luxurious restaurant with a long history. The building was designed in a traditional Japanese architectural style called "Gassho-zukuri," and is over 260 years old. It is originally from Gifu prefecture; the interior is a stunning example of traditional Japanese architecture. You’ll feel the history and culture of Japan inside this venue.
