Experience Details
After meeting your guide, go to Nijo Market, one of the most popular markets in Sapporo. This is where fishermen come to showcase and sell their freshest catch. The market consists of about 30 stores located all within one city block, and in addition to fish, you’ll find fresh fruits and vegetables grown around Hokkaido. Locals call Nijo Market “Sapporo’s Public Kitchen” — a true testament to the merchants' friendliness and everybody’s shared love for real good seafood.
Consult with your guide to decide where to go for an experience suited to your shopping needs, explore the market and discover seafood and vegetables you’d like to eat or buy for your dinner. They can help you with your shopping, so there’s no need to worry if you don’t read or understand Japanese. Don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations, not only for dinner ingredients but for souvenirs as well.
After enjoying shopping, we will go to a restaurant for dinner. Enjoy the local delicacies cooked by a French chef with the ingredients you bought at the market at this hidden gem of a restaurant. If you can’t find the ingredients you like, you can still enjoy dishes made with the restaurant’s best ingredients.
