Miyoshi is a traditional Japanese restaurant in the beautiful Shizuoka Prefecture that has been open for 55 years! This atmospheric restaurant is filled with charm inside and out, with all kinds of traditional decor and sumptuous trays laden with gorgeous dishes. This traditional Japanese restaurant is the perfect place to soak up some culture outside of the busy cities across the nation. Join this dining experience in Shizuoka, complete with a kimono and Japanese dance lesson.
You will be greeted by the friendly staff at Miyoshi, before choosing your favorite design of kimono to wear. They will teach you how to put on this traditional Japanese dress, and you will feel like you fit right into the restaurant's atmosphere. With plenty of time and attention to detail, each person will take about 20 minutes to get dressed properly.
Next, while wearing your beautiful kimono you have the chance to take photos. With traditional Japanese accessories on hand, you will be able to take stunning photos with the backdrop of Miyoshi’s traditional decor. There will be approximately 20 minutes for the photoshoot.
After taking photos, you will get the chance to learn the basics of the art of Japanese dance! Your instructor teaches you different movements during this immersive cultural experience. The Japanese dance lesson takes approximately 40 minutes.
Finally, after all those photos and dancing you should have worked up an appetite! You can enjoy the best of Miyoshi's delicious offerings, finishing off your experience with an authentic Japanese lunch before returning your kimono.
