First, you’ll visit the Yanagibashi Rengo Market, a fresh seafood market often referred to as "Hakata's Kitchen" that has been a part of the city for over a century. Here, you'll scour for fresh seafood to open your appetite and enjoy fresh tempura and fried kamaboko fish cakes. Next, you'll head to Sankaku Market, a narrow street lined with restaurants. While mingling with locals, you'll enjoy a comforting bowl of udon noodles at a traditional restaurant here. To wrap up the afternoon, your last stop will be Bonet, a jazzy kissaten coffee shop where you'll get a taste of old Japan as you enjoy pudding with a steamy cup of hand-drip coffee.
