From the milky broth of tonkotsu ramen to the crisp bite of warm tetsunabe gyoza, Fukuoka's food scene is diverse and exciting, reflecting the history of the city as a cultural melting pot. But with so many options available, what do locals eat — and, most importantly, where?
A local guide will lead this evening exploration into the lesser-known eateries and flavors that are the pride and joy of Fukuoka. From sashimi to udon, get ready to try several foods as you learn about Hakata's local culture and history firsthand.

Next, you'll stroll through the narrow Sankaku Market on your way to a traditional restaurant specializing in udon noodles.
