Your instructor will give you a hand as you purchase the produce and ingredients used during the cooking class from four local stores.
Even though Toyosu Fish Market is now Tokyo’s largest fish market (taking over Tsukiji’s Inner Market). However, you can still purchase a range of high-quality ingredients and professional cooking tools at Tsukiji’s 400 storefronts and restaurants that remain in the outer market. Your instructor will help you with any of your shopping needs as well.
Held at a studio at the heart of Tsukiji Outer Market, you will return to learn how to cook your newly purchased, seasonal ingredients during a private cooking class. Armed with inspiration from the sights of Tsukiji’s bustling market, your instructor will teach you culinary tips and tricks of the pros! They will explain in-depth how to best prepare different seasonal ingredients, different cooking techniques, harness essential Japanese flavorings, and more. You will learn how to make three traditional Japanese dishes, including one soup, during the private cooking class, with hands-on demonstration and guidance from your instructor.
