Osaka is considered a major foodie capital in Japan, with people flocking from far and wide to sample the regional cuisine. No trip to Osaka is complete without a visit to Dotonbori–a long shopping street in the Namba district–known for its fun culinary landscape.
As part of this gourmet food tour, you (and your tastebuds) will get to know the city of Osaka via food, learning about the region’s distinctive culture along the way!
After meeting your host at Namba Metro Station Exit 1 (at the top of the stairs), you’ll be guided through the alleyways of Namba before moving towards Dotonbori.
On the way to Dotonbori, you’ll learn about the area’s history and feast as the locals do at five different locations. Finish up the tour by filling up on regional specialties like kitsune udon, niku tofu, kushi katsu, eihire, tonpeiyaki, yakisoba and takoyaki.
This tour will last for roughly 3.5 hours, giving you plenty of time to savor every last bite.
