Just west of the bustling Tokyo metropolis, Shizuoka prefecture boasts the beautiful sights of Mt. Fuji and the bountiful nature of Japan. Experience the best of Shizuoka through this bicycle tour and a first-hand experience at a historical green tea farm!
Hop on your trusty rental bicycle and breeze through Shizuoka's downtown district, along the scenic Abe river, and into the lush green fields of the prefecture's countryside. Among the fields is a green tea farm where you'll walk through the grounds, learn about the farm's 150-year history, and visit a traditional building to sample some aromatic green tea. After this, you'll head back to the city proper, stopping by Shizuoka Sengen Shrine and a vintage shopping district to bask in the city's atmosphere.

Tea Farm Itinerary:
• Meet at JR Shizuoka Station
• Hop on your bike and pedal through the local shopping streets
• Head to the tea farm (about an hour's ride)
• Tea experience & tasting session
• Return to Shizuoka (another hour's ride)
• Stop off at a shrine
• Back to the station, time to say goodbye!
