Experience Details
You’ve probably heard of Shibuya Crossing, but are you familiar with the backstreets of Tokyo?
During this bike tour, you’ll explore central Tokyo, coasting down hidden alleyways, and get insights into the local life in Tokyo.
You’ll find yourself among the labyrinthine pathways of Tokyo with a local guide, and try traditional Japanese foods which cannot be found in the typical restaurants. These tiny mom-and-pop shops and street stalls serve up local ingredients with big flavors to fuel your journey! For instance, you will try sakuramochi (a cute pink mochi filled with sweet bean paste and wrapped in a salty cherry blossom leaf) from one of the first shops to start selling it in the area (except for Mondays, when the shop is closed, so you will visit a different store).
From the end of March to the beginning of April, you'll cycle under sakura (cherry blossom trees). It will surely make an unforgettable memory for you!
The tour includes several stops, and it will introduce off-the-beaten-path shopping streets and street foods. This is a private tour, so your host can take you to try the foods of your choice. A popular choice is takoyaki (grilled octopus dumplings).
During the tour, you’ll see a new side of Tokyo, riding around unique old-time shopping arcades and visiting. Your host is passionate about showing you the lesser-known parts of central Tokyo.

Experience Location
Home to the famous Sensoji Temple, a Buddhist temple built in the 7th century, Asakusa overflows with rich history and traditional culture. In the past, Asakusa was Tokyo’s leading entertainment district, a red light district with a number of kabuki theaters. Most of Asakusa was destroyed during World War II, but it has since grown into one of Tokyo's most visited tourist spots. Here, you'll find Nakamise Dori, a bustling shopping street lined with local snack and souvenir shops. Asakusa also has other attractions such as parks, public baths, and museums.
