This fascinating multicultural city has an interesting history and original restaurants and bars that serve authentic soul foods. Led by a friendly host who knows their way around the area, enjoy an assortment of traditional dishes and explore the nostalgic, deep side of Naha while getting to know locals and fellow travelers.
After picking you up from the designated meeting point, your host will take you to three izakaya bars to experience an authentic Okinawan night out. Enjoy fun activities like karaoke and taste awamori (an Okinawan distilled spirit) and Japanese sake. In this unforgettable night out, your host, an Okinawan resident, will teach you about the island’s unique food culture and history. From traditional restaurants serving Okinawan foods to old-school Japanese retro bars, you’ll visit both popular, well-established eateries and explore the lesser-known side streets in this deep dive of local gourmet and nightlife.
