Geisha are traditional female performers who are considered as cultural icons in Japan. Dressed in beautiful, traditional kimonos and trained in traditional Japanese dance and musical performances, geisha are skilled hosts and artists in their own right. In fact, the Japanese kanji characters for geisha essentially translates to “‘employed as an artisan.” The geisha profession is highly regarded in Japan, and so locals and visitors alike want to spend an evening with the beautiful, talented, and respected geisha. During this dining experience, you will spend a leisurely evening eating and drinking in the company your geisha hosts and other guests in a traditional teahouse. Chat with your geisha host over a banquet meal, spending the evening enjoying different dishes of exquisite Japanese cuisine during this 2-hour experience. Your humble geisha hosts will also perform a traditional Japanese dance as a part of this unique dining experience.
