Gururin

Located in Sendai, the capital of Miyagi prefecture, this certified cooking instructor operates a cooking class out of her home. A Sendai native who has gone back and forth between Japan and Canada for study and work throughout the years, after returning to her home city, she discovered kagari-sushi, an artistic style of sushi rolls. Her excitement for the edible art form led her to get her teaching qualification, and now she teaches how to make these decorative rolls to international travelers.
