Restaurant Details

Even though Sushi Soejima is located at the heart of one of the most famous cities in Fukuoka, just five minutes from Hakata Station, you’ll be surprised at how peaceful and quiet the neighborhood this restaurant is located in is. This Michelin-starred restaurant is run by a wonderful couple that oozes chemistry unlike no other — it adds on to the eccentric flavors of their creations.

Sushi Soejima offers both single dishes as well as course menus available. Every visit is a new experience — the focus on seasonality extends to their ingredients and methods of preparation. Various flavors are introduced at different times of the year to not only suit the seasonal ingredients but also the weather. Look out for innovative touches like presenting prawns in a butterfly visual, and boiling anago in white soy sauce to accentuate the natural flavors.
