Restaurant Details

You may have a little trouble finding this kappo restaurant in Shinbashi, near Karasumori Shrine, on account of the fact that it’s down a small alley and has no sign outside. Once you’ve found the door, you’ll enter into one of the area’s best kept dining secrets.

Take a seat at the 8-seat counter and watch the chef cook up some fantastic traditional dishes, such as stewed duck, hairy crab, fried horse mackerel with milt, fried shirako, and fried oysters.

The fried dishes typically round off the meal, with grilled fish and sashimi usually featuring in the earlier courses. The menu changes regularly, so you’re never quite sure what you’ll be served until the chef whips it up right before your eyes.
