Jiyugaoka Rollya
At Rollya, you can try some of the best roll cakes in Japan and find your favorite from more than 15 varieties!
Restaurant Details
The owner-chef at Mont St. Clair, Hironobu Tsujiguchi, opened a roll cake specialty shop that he had dreamed of since he was 18.
At Jiyugaoka Rollya, they use carefully-selected and healthy ingredients: original flour blends, organic sugar, cacao, and sugar-free chocolate. Their showcase displays gorgeously-decorated roll cakes that are made from scratch.
Aside from their classic Jiyugaoka roll cake flavor, as many as 15 other varieties are available: seasonal fruit, chocolate, matcha, castella, cream cheese, fondant chocolate, fig and kinako, and more. Even low-carb chocolate rolls are also available.
Besides roll cakes, there are various kinds of baked confections available. Cookies, madeleines, financiers, fruit cakes, sesame florentine, and scones. Cookie cream puffs and puddings are also must-try items!
Rollya is 8 minutes away from Jiyugaoka Station on foot. This shop is takeout only, though you can also get it delivered.
