Japanese Cuisine Sakuragaoka
High-class traditional Japanese dining, with options running from full kaiseki course meals to premium lunch bowls and exquisite afternoon tea.
Restaurant Details
Located inside the 5-star Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, Japanese Cuisine Sakuragaoka offers traditional Japanese dining in a non-traditional setting. This stylish kaiseki establishment comprises a bright and modern dining room, five private dining rooms, and a counter dedicated to exquisite tempura.
The omakase (chef’s choice) course menus follow the flow of traditional kaiseki meals, with a procession of small, delicate dishes made from fresh seasonal ingredients. The focus is on preserving and enhancing the natural flavors of their top-quality seafood, beef, and produce, sourced from the best producers all round Japan. These are paired with rare sake and Japanese wines, chosen by the house sommelier.
Saguragaoka also features a dedicated tempura counter. Here, guests enjoy the same fresh, premium ingredients in a special tempura kaiseki meal. And at lunchtime, beautifully arranged multi-tier bento boxes are available, as well as a host of other set options such as premium wagyu gyudon (beef rice bowls).
Those looking for a lighter option will enjoy their Japanese-style afternoon tea. This features obanzai dishes (Kyoto-style appetizers) alongside assorted confectionery, and a range of premium teas.
