Ginza Kudou
Relax in a relaxed homey space with a fantastic kaiseki meal, in Tokyo’s upmarket shopping hub.
Restaurant Details
Talk about exclusivity — this Japanese restaurant one-ups other private dining spaces by accepting only three reservations per day. Ginza Kudou is conveniently located next to the kabuki theatre in Ginza. Despite being so central, it's tucked away in a calm, quiet corner, away from the bustling city.
Almost instantly, this restaurant earned its title as one of Ginza's most popular restaurants. The former head chef of a renowned restaurant opened his own space to present deceptively simple-sounding but intensely flavorful dishes. His best seasonal picks include Seiko crab, spiny lobster, and pufferfish.
During the Year of the Boar, Chef Kudo served wild boar hot pot in celebration. Though the Year of the Rat doesn’t suggest anything quite so appetizing, rest assured that the chef’s imagination will still be working day and night to provide new and exciting dishes each and every month.
Chef Kudo's vision to create a comfortable and relaxing space has resulted in the restaurant feeling much more like a home than a formal dining space. This surely must be Ginza's coziest fine dining restaurant.
