Ginza Katsukami
Expand your love for fried pork with the first ever course meal restaurant specially for tonkatsu.
Restaurant Details
Ginza Katsukami was the first ever restaurant in Japan to offer tonkatsu course meals. Not only is it the original mastermind behind the style of dining, but the quality of meat is not compromised despite the honest pricing.
They offer a huge variety of cuts of pork that is not limited to the standard loins and tenderloins, but also including the shoulder, rump, nakashin, shintama, and sune. Some cuts are so rare that you might well never have heard of them.
Lunch courses have pork cuts from Gunma prefecture while the dinner ones are from Yamagata prefecture and they are a pricier kind. Different sauces are served for both dining times as well — the lunch has the karakuchi sauce and koikuchi sauce, and the dinner has the balsamic vinegar special sauce.
While Ginza Katsukami is rightly labeled as pricier than other tonkatsu restaurants, it's still on the lower end of the range for Ginza, so you can enjoy some more of the area’s high end shopping with all of the money you’ll save by choosing to have your lunch here.

Tonkatsu Fujiki Ningyocho
A Ningyocho fixture, Fujiki offers a varied spread of tonkatsu cutlet offerings, but most go for their signature dish: a huge bone-in tomahawk-style pork cutlet that looks just as good as it tastes. It’s great either plain or with the house sauce.
