Ginza Adachi Naoto
A Michelin-starred kappo restaurant in Ginza, run by a chef who knows all the finer points of hospitality and traditional Japanese cooking.
Restaurant Details
Adachi Naoto is both the name of this Michelin-starred restaurant and the chef who runs it. Although naming one's restaurant after oneself might suggest a hint of egotism, his warm and humble hospitality displays anything but.
The cooking on show behind his counter is equally as impressive. Prepare yourself to savor fantastic soups using a house-blend dashi stock, and premium seasonal ingredients such as fugu (pufferfish) in winter. There are three different levels of course meal to choose from, at three price points. Sake, and wines from around the world are also in abundance.
The space is elegant and contemporary, with seating arranged along a counter which looks over into the kitchen. Ginza Adachi Naoto is a quiet, elegant retreat from the city, filled with the warm hospitality of an owner-chef who takes genuine delight in entertaining and feeding his guests.
