Michelin-starred kaiseki dining in Tokyo, from a chef who’s knowledgeable in the traditional arts and philosophy of Japan.

Restaurant Details

Chef Yoshio Aramaki trained in Kyoto and now brings the flavors of the ancient capital to the streets of Kagurazaka. He is intimately familiar with the culture and philosophy underpinning the cuisine, having studied traditional tea ceremony for many years. He brings that same considerate style of service to his kaiseki meals.

The dishes follow one another in a sequence that complement and juxtapose, which make them part of an integrated, whole experience. Aramaki-san also employs seasonings sparingly, using just enough to bring out the natural flavors of his seasonal ingredients.

Even the alcohol is presented with care, as he is also a trained and certified sommelier. The sake is warmed to different temperatures depending on the bottle, dish it is paired with, and climate of the season. These drinks and the dishes are all presented on a stunning range of designer ceramics.

Only 11 counter seats and a 4-seat private table are available, so be sure to place a reservation well in advance if you want to experience this exquisite kaiseki meal for yourself.
