The signature dish at Brown Rice by Neal's Yard Remedies is an “ichiju-sansai” seasonal set (1,700 yen). “Ichiju-sansai” is a traditional Japanese set meal that includes rice, miso soup, and three kinds of dishes. The dishes change weekly and include one seasonal main dish, accompanied by three small side dishes of seasonal simmered vegetables, greens, or seaweed.
Another speciality at this vegan Tokyo cafe is their bamboo basket steamed vegetable set (1,700 yen). Inside the basket, there are over 10 different kinds of steamed colorful vegetables. You can enjoy them with two kinds of homemade dipping sauces.
They also have seasonal vegetable curry and rice (1,500 yen) made with an original curry blend and featuring in-season vegetables and beans. All the lunch menus come with brown rice, and the brown rice at this cafe is perfectly soft and light.
You don’t want to miss their special desserts like tofu lemon cheesecake and soy ice cream.
