Ajihiro
Come to Ajihiro for seafood dining in Tsukiji, the beating heart of Japan’s seafood industry for decades.
Restaurant Details
Tsukiji Market may have sadly closed its doors in October of 2018, signaling the end of an 80-year era in Tokyo’s seafood culture, but the area around the old market is still home to an abundance of the best seafood restaurants in the city.
Situated just a 15 minute walk from the site of Tsukiji Market, Ajihiro is a kappo restaurant which specializes in top quality seafood. Drawing upon the produce at Toyosu Market, the successor to Tsukiji’s crown, they serve up seasonal seafood dishes in a stylish and clean interior.
This means classic shrimp and sashimi dishes, alongside delicacies only available at certain times of the year, such as snow crab.
