Cooking instructor Terumi Shirakawa was born and raised in Ibaraki, Osaka, where her father gave her an appreciation for homemade and homegrown food. After studying abroad in the U.S. and traveling internationally, she became more and more fascinated by home-cooking around the world, and established her own cooking class in 2008. Her hobbies include visiting supermarkets, gardening, pottery, and folk art and her motto is “Have a fun dining table!”
