Nachi-Katsuura is a small port town on the southeast tip of Wakayama Prefecture. It’s known for relaxing hot springs and fresh tuna auctions at the local fish market. Located just 40 minutes from Nachi-Katsuura by bus is Seigantoji, a famous Buddhist temple. The temple boasts beautiful views of its three-story pagoda with the thundering Nachi Waterfall, Japan’s tallest waterfall, as the backdrop.
