Join an expert guide and experience the nightlife, food and drinks in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district, dubbed as the city’s “Sleepless Town”.
After meeting your guide at a cafe near Shinjuku Station, you'll kick off the tour walking to Omoide Yokocho, a network of alleys crammed with tiny eateries and restaurants serving Japanese comfort foods and drinks. Here, you’ll enjoy street foods like yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and bask in the nostalgic atmosphere of this iconic district as you get to know your guide over beer.
Next, you’ll follow your guide to neon-lit Kabukicho, an entertainment district often referred to as the "Sleepless Town." Here you’ll find Golden Gai, a network of small roads home to over 200 restaurants and popular hole-in-the-walls. You’ll stop by two izakaya restaurants where you can wine and dine like a local. Enjoy beer, cocktails, spirits, or wine, paired with local snacks. You’ll end the tour with a relaxing stroll through the picturesque Hanazono Shrine near the iconic Isetan department store before saying goodbye to your guide with full bellies and high spirits!
