Experience Details
With an estimated 10,000 ramen restaurants in Tokyo, you'll find endless ways to fix your noodle cravings. But, presented with so many options, it might feel challenging to face the city's massive ramen scene alone. Let a local ramen expert take you exploring the city's unique offerings on this unforgettable tour that'll take you exploring Tokyo off the beaten path on a fun, lighthearted and unbelievably delicious bicycle ramen tour.
Cycle through the city's hip Shimokitazawa area and venture through the bustling streets of downtown Shibuya led by Brian, your host and a local ramen expert. Together, you'll pedal through on comfortable rental e-bikes in search of some of the city's best ramen.
Salty, soy sauce, tonkotsu, or chicken-based — name your preference upon booking and let Brian take care of the rest. If you'd rather leave the choice completely up to him, he might take you to two of his favorite ramen spots: a restaurant serving salt-based chicken ramen with a light broth and deep flavors. You'll then cycle and conclude the tour with a more dense and rich Niigata-style ramen with a savory layer of fat infusing the broth with umami. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and other dietary restrictions or food allergies can be accommodated! Please let your host know your preferences or needs when booking.
This tour is led by a well-known ramen expert in Japan who is also an online content creator, book writer and ramen critic for Ramen Walker magazine. Let Brian introduce you to the wonderful world of authentic, delicious Japanese ramen and learn insights into the history and culture of this famous noodle dish during this unforgettable exploration of some of the city's quintessential bowls on two wheels.
