Venture into Kyoto's scenic beauty and long-standing culinary refinement in this unique experience combining both. Clad in a silk kimono, you'll board a limousine for a scenic ride through the city on your way to Uosaburo, a historical restaurant in the district of Fushimi. Here, you'll savor a multi-course kaiseki meal featuring fresh fish caught nearby and Kyoto's regional vegetables. Learn about Kyoto's gastronomic heritage and long-standing traditions while savoring some of its finest creations. A sake pairing option is also available upon request on the day (for a separate fee to be paid onsite).
Experience flow:
- Arrive at the kimono rental venue near Kyoto Station and select and dress in a traditional kimono assisted by staff (~1 h)
- A limousine will pick you up from the kimono rental venue, and enjoy a scenic ride through Kyoto (~30 min)
- Arrive at Uosaburo restaurant and savor a traditional multi-course kaiseki meal (~2 h)
- Return to the limousine and enjoy a relaxed ride (~30 min)
- Arrive back to the kimono rental venue and change back into your clothes
