In this cozy home cooking class led by Yuka, a cooking instructor specializing in gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian cooking, you can learn to make Japanese staples like onigiri rice balls and rolled omelet using natural and pesticide-free ingredients. What’s more, this class can accommodate several dietary restrictions and be adapted to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and halal-friendly diets.
You’ll meet Yuka at her home in Setagaya, a quiet residential neighborhood near Shibuya. Upon arrival, Yuka will introduce the recipe and ingredients before you put on your apron and get hands-on cooking an assortment of dishes. You’ll learn about Japanese cooking techniques, differences between ingredients, and recommendations on substituting ingredients when adapting recipes for different dietary restrictions. As a culinary specialist, Yuka selects only natural ingredients free of pesticides.
