The Kaga region is well known for its beautiful natural landscapes and ancient history. In this experience, you will visit three famous sites: Natadera, Yamamotoya, and Yamanaka Onsen.
Natadera is famous for housing the Natadera Temple, which is dedicated to worshiping the sacredness of nature. The beautiful natural landscape is calming and photogenic in any season.
Yamamotoya is famous for being a bustling port town. It used to be a stop in the routes of Kitamaebune (merchant ships that used to go around Japan during the Edo Period). Here you will experience an entire seafood course, the deliciousness will make you definitely exclaim, “umai!” (delicious in Japanese).
The last stop is at Yamanaka Onsen, a perfect location to wind down after a day’s adventure. You will be able to drink tea overlooking the river, walk along walk the ancient path of poets, experience the onsens, and buy the famed Yamanaka lacquerware at this hot spring town surrounded by beautiful nature.
