日本民艺运动的诞生源于保护日本民间艺术的愿望:提醒日本人,在快速现代化的时代,他们每天都在使用的传统器皿和漆器中依然蕴含着美。


正是这种民艺精神推动着 Yakumo Nagarekawa(有时罗马拼音为 Yagumo,与位于和平大道和中央大街交叉口对面的原分店相同)餐厅的发展。餐厅朴素的白色外观掩盖了其精美的内部装饰,其中充满了传统的日式装置,如 noren 窗帘、Shoji 推拉门和深色木制家具。传统陶瓷和绘画等明治艺术品被摆放在台座上或悬挂在墙壁上,显得格外有品位。
