Nao took me on a delightful tour of Nishi Market and Gion. Not only did she explain how history has shaped and changed the place, but she also pointed out dishes that I would have unknowingly passed by, which were truly delicious. Moreover, she has introduced me to Japanese customs and food culture. It was great fun as she also catered to my needs and helped me find items that I would have struggled to find on my own 😊

Kenji provided a fantastic tour. Very informative, with lots of tasty local treats to sample. Would definitely recommend this tour if you're ever in Kyoto.

Tour with Tatsuya was fantastic with lots of good stories and laughs, highly recommend if you are going to visit Kyoto. It was in a small group so we had lots of chances to get to know Tatsuya. He let us ask questions about the culture and history of the area. He showed us areas you would not other wise visit and to experience foods that are local from Kyoto. Tours like this one make great memories!

Big thanks to Aki! We thoroughly enjoyed being guided by the very knowlegable Aki. We went to the markets and the geisha district. We feel that we got to try local traditional Kyoto cuisine with Aki that we would not have otherwise tried. Highly recommend Aki as a guide. Overall the tour added another element to our trip to Kyoto.
