On this tour you will visit Lake Shikaribetsu, the highest lake in Hokkaido at an elevation of 810 meters. You will start out trekking through the serene Shikaribetsu Recreation Forest that spreads out to the lakeside. Experience nature up close with your guide, observing various flora and fauna. You can even find seasonal flowers and mushrooms along the way while listening to the sounds of wild birds and other animals.
Afterwards, you will take a canoe tour around the lake. Guides will show you how to paddle and get around so that even beginners can enjoy the adventure and catch a rare view of the surrounding nature from the center of the lake. After hiking and canoeing, you can rejuvenate yourself with a delicious lunch made from local ingredients such as mushrooms, and vegetables you may have come across on your hike.
